Meet the Doctor

Dr. Karen has been serving Alamance County for over 27 years.  She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from          Logan College of Chiropractic in 1994. She is also WELCOA Worksite Wellness certified level 4, a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Specialist and a Well Cert Certified Program Director Level 3. Dr. Karen has also finished all requirements for the Diplomate in Occupational Health and Applied Ergonomics, the only Chiropractor with this training in the state of NC.  Dr. Karen loves helping people and her mission is to improve the lives of everyone she comes in contact with. Dr. Karen has been active in several sports at a high level and enjoys competition.  As an 11 time World Powerlifting Champion, she learned what it takes to plan and prepare to successfully meet her goals and she implements that with her patients and their care. She empowers her patients to overcome their fears and beliefs, while developing new standards for themselves and a love for life.  Dr. Karen has additional experience in exercise, nutrition, and Occupational Health and Applied Ergonomics and has served on the board of the International Academy of Occupational Health Consultants for almost 17 years.  Dr. Karen has an amazing husband, Roger, a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn, and wonderful parents Kaye, Rob and his wife Helga.
